Mary, Queen of Peace

MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY PRESENTATIONS

The month of May is a time Catholics honor The Blessed Mother with May Crownings and recitation of the Most Holy Rosary.  A wonderful effect of praying the most Holy Rosary is peace of mind, heart and soul. We all desire peace and Our Lady of the Rosary also known with the title, Queen of Peace can definitely attain for us this peace that our hearts so ardently yearn. The rosary is our refuge and Mary, Mother of God, our help at this time of the Coronavirus Pandemic and at all times of our life, especially at the hour of our death. Sr. Lucia, a seer from the Apparitions of Fatima, stated, “there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.” Saint Louis Marie de Montfort, had a great devotion to Mary, and wrote the 33 Day Consecration to Mary. He states, “The Son of God became man for our salvation but only in Mary and through Mary,” and “If devotion to the Blessed Virgin is necessary for all men simply to work out their salvation, it is even more necessary for those who are called to a special perfection. I do not believe that anyone can acquire intimate union with our Lord and perfect fidelity to the Holy Spirit without a very close union with the most Blessed Virgin and an absolute dependence on her support.”

So during the month of May which is dedicated to Our Lady, the prayer of the Rosary is a beautiful devotion to honor her with. Eva Marie Loucks, a parishioner of St. Mary’s for over 30 years and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Prayer Group created a presentation on the mysteries of the Rosary for you to mediated with. Eva Marie is an artist/author and has given lectures/presentations/radio interviews on Our Lady since 2008. We hope you can find peace and comfort praying the mysteries of the Rosary with St. Mary’s Church.
