JOURNEYS, Art Exhibition, Town of Ballston Community Library

I will be having a solo art exhibition, Journeys, at the Town of Ballston Community Library from August 1 – 25. This exhibit will featuring 23 works, with a few pieces which are featured in my print-on-demand book, Medjuorje, A Personal Journey in Photography and Illustration. I am very pleased to for this opportunity to share my work at the Community Library. I have been creating art for a long time, and have put together my love of art with my love of traveling.

The Saratoga area and traveling are a big part of my life. I love creating lasting impression of special moments, events, places or objects. My images capture the fast-paced action and splendor of Saratoga. Living in Saratoga County all my life and attending the August track meet is a traditional part of my summer.

This exhibition will feature vivid scenery and images which come to life in vibrant color. Many of my inspirations come from my travels to Australia, England, France, and Italy. Her most recent works have been inspired by my pilgrimages to Medjugorje, a small town in Bosnia-Herzegovina. My range of works is from timid docile sheep, to stark monoliths of Stonehenge, to soft watercolor sunlight on the a rocky hill to vivid acrylic landscapes.

The Town of Ballston Community Library is located at 2 Lawmar Lane, Burnt Hills, NY. For more information call the Library at 518-399-8174.
